There was a clear divide between the 905 and 416 regions in 2020. Sales growth was strongest in the regions surrounding Toronto, particularly those areas with low-rise homes, including singles, semis and town homes. In the city, sales were down due to less demand for condominium apartments during some months of the year. Condo market conditions were also much more balanced in the 416, as the supply of listings increased strongly.
